I tried my hardest to resist the urge to tuck her into my winter coat and run off with her, and in the end I left her in the wonderful care of my in-laws. I fell in love with Lucy today, and I believe the feeling is mutual. I can't wait to go back and visit her again.
Please, fall in love with her for yourself - visit her photo gallery. Yes, she is teeny tiny. She's about one pound and will grow to a max of about 7 pounds if she follows in her parents' footsteps.
For anyone who's interested to know, Lucy is a purebred Pomeranian, but to us she looks like a baby fox. :)

OMG! She is so adorable! I bet you want to dress her up in outfits and carry her around in your purse...I know I do!
B, I cannot express in words how precious and loveable this girl is. She kept licking my chin then putting her front paws on my chin, she slept on me, she played fetch with me, she gazed into my eyes, she went to the bathroom for me, she came to me when I called her - just the perfect puppy. She and I were both very sad when we knew I was leaving.
She is waaaaaaay too tiny to dress up right now. I know she looks big, but it's all fur. My in-laws are not the sort of people to put outfits on their dog, but if I started buying the outfits perhaps they'd amuse me by having her try them on while I am there. :D
I LOVE LUCY, TOO! Omigawd, she is so sweet. There's an older couple in my building that have a pom and I always enjoy seeing her (and not smelling her!) They must bathe her every other day because there is absolutely NO 'doggy' scent. She's like a little buddy and is even cuter when she gets a haircut, if you can believe it!
