In the Garden
Just in case tomorrow gets away from me, I'm using this quiet moment to publish this week's garden photos. For Joanne and anyone else who is squirmy around bugs: Two of the photos in the set contain spiders (one cute, one soooo not cute), one has a grasshopper, and another has a teeny tiny little bug (type unknown). Flowers! I love flowers! I am squeamish about bugs, but I love spiders! I have an unholy fascination about them. I walk past webs and stop and study them and am just fascinated by them. Mostly because they eat other bugs. :)

Joanne, next time I'll put a not-warning if I take more spider pics. I'll instead say "good surprise for Joanne". :) What about if a web includes wrapped up bugs - is that okay?
How beautiful! We're living in a rental right now and I'm chomping at the bit to build a house of our own so I can have a garden. I love all kinds of styles, but I'm thinking of part of it consisting of native Texas plants and another section as a wild English garden.
Sigh....that strawberry looks luscious, btw!!!
Oh, my gosh, BEAUTIFUL! I especially love the purple flowers. But the SPIDER. AAAAAAARGH. So big! WHY??!
I love flowers. :) When we were living in an apartment the first year (or two?) of marriage we took the liberty of planting flowers (without asking) on the back side of the building. I mean, come on, we were helping our landlord show off the property by giving it a more home-y feel, so it was a win-win situation! When we moved into our house we left it all behind. Everytime we pass by the apartment we want to sneak into the parking lot and see if the garden is still there or even improved upon! But, we don't. We will someday...
Not sure why that juicy spider was hanging out right there, other than that it was directly in the path of the wind so probably a great spot for bug catching!
