Indecision

You might have noticed that I am currently reading nothing. It's not because I don't like reading... I'm an insatiable reader. But, I reviewed all the books in my house that I had intended to read and none of them are calling my name. I looked back at the Fall reading list I sent to frister to which she responded with her own suggestions for reading, and tomorrow I plan to go to the library to pick up a book or 5. So, yay!

I agree with Bryan. David Sedaris is always a good choice.

Also, I love the library. Books for free? Who'da thunk it?!

If you find anything new and exciting, please pass it along! I have been reduced (nearly) to reading Harlequin romances . . . UGH.

Remember The Chronicles of Narnia? I've been rereading those, and they are just as absorbing the second time. I'm 10-years-old again, staying up past my bedtime to read "just one more chapter."

I love David Sedaris. I wish I could keep him and Amy in my pocket and take them out whenever I needed a laugh or an injection of "the truly bizarre".

Sarah Vowell, people. Read her, love her.

And, Kris, right now might be the time to read James Frey's two books, Million first, then Leonard. Prepare to cry. Hard.

Oops, Lisa - I must admit I changed schools so much that I didn't even know about The Chronicles of Narnia except The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe which sounded fascinating but I never was in the same room with a copy so never read it. I think it might be time to read the chronicles before seeing the movies.
