Sad news for muppet fans - the Henson Creature Shop is closing. Staff were given their 30-days notice this week by Brian Henson.
And, here's clarification/confirmation from the Muppet Store:
Dear Customers, the Muppet Store is closing its doors until the new year.We have met all our holiday expectations and can no longer supply the goods. Our site is still up, but ordering has been disabled. We apologize for any inconvenience. Expect to see us back in January with a new look and more products.

I know, and it's not dated so I'm slightly concerned that the note is a leftover from last year, even though people just scooped it this week. So, I guess we'll check back on January 2, 2006 and see what they say?
