Folks from NYC - what do you think of this new design?
Folks from not NYC - what do you think? I'm in this category, and I don't care for the new design. I don't think I'm being unpatriotic, I just don't think it does the original WTC justice.
I think I don't like it. But I think I don't like it because I don't like how much it sticks out from the other buildings. Of course, I'm not a New Yorker and it is doubtful I'll get back to New York City anytime so, in the relative importance of opinions on this, I'm pretty low.
Seems okay to me, I finally saw a picture of what they were deciding last night on the news...I think they were more concerned about it be impenetrable though.

It's not great, it's not horrible, it just IS.
Which, in that case, it needs to be redesigned. It should be more than it just IS.
