The one kiss that wasn't just to cure nerves

Once upon a time there was a gameshow called Family Feud with a host called Richard Dawson. One day Richard saw that a female contestant was very nervous, so to calm her nerves he kissed her. Fans wrote to the show raving about the kiss, so Richard began kissing all female contestants. Before each show the women would be asked if they wanted Richard to kiss them, and where (lips or cheek).

On one fateful show in 1981 Richard kissed a 24-year-old contestant as he did any other female contestant, but 10 years later Richard and the contestant had a child together and were married. This contestant's name: Gretchen Johnson. Richard and Gretchen are still married.
