cinquante choses

I have completed my 50 things project way ahead of schedule, thanks to Avi sending me the artwork via overnight delivery and then me getting some free time this afternoon to record each segment.

The project is inspired by my favorite YouTuber Paperlilies who posted her 50 things that she has done/experienced in her lifetime on her Stickam account.

Because Avi offered to make me 50 separate pieces of art to represent each thing I chose not to do costume changes in my video like Paperlilies did, but rather just hold up the artwork for you to stare at while I said the thing it represented.

Please take a visit over to Stickam to view my video. Since it represents my life there is a lot of adult-themed behavior mentioned. And, since Avi drew the pictures and he's a dirty old man there's a lot of stick figure nakedness.

Thanks again to Avi for the artwork, and thanks to the beautiful and talented xPLx for inspiring me. :)

Hey! Your voice! AND your face! Yay! That is a whole lot of exclamation points and incomplete sentences. It's just fun to put both a face and a voice to the blog. Thanks for sharing.

Also, those pictures cracked me up.

Very nice project- I feel like I know a LOT more about you now. And was that the first time you have posted anything that reveals what you look like? I don't recall seeing you on here before (except your hair). A breakthrough!

Molly - I know, I was there with you. :P (Just kidding!)

Avi - And he even thinks quite highly of himself.

Stef - That is precisely why I commissioned Avi. He's hilarious.

Stef and Jen - I've linked to a video of me talking to Georgia while she poops, but it was in my baby (babier than the one in this video) voice and I didn't show my face. This is the reveal of the real me. :) Thanks for reacting positively to finding out who I am.

That was a very cool video! A very different and unique take on the 50 things video... and quite wonderful artistry as well. Excellently done!

Just one thing... the prisoner... who wanted you to tell him you rode a horse... well... he looked more like a gorilla. Are you sure you weren't at the zoo???

Interesting and creative. I like the art. My life feels so much more boring than yours ;)

Avi made me promise to act like I was just a guy who came by accidentally roaming blogs and being floored by how wonderful and talented the artist was. Howm I doing?

Poppy, that was AWESOME! Dude, you crack me up.And I'm pretty sure I've done a lot of those, but not the ones involving Belgium.

Pretty sure I'd remember Belgium.

Go, Poppy!

That's awesome...loved your honesty and Avi's pictures! All of a sudden my life seems ultra-boring, probably because I can't remember half the shit I've done!

that was awesome! you have one of those voices I could just listen to forever. :)

Laci, Amy, and Crystal - Thank you. :) And, thanks for stopping by!

Watchdog - He's a very nice gorilla! (At least to me.)

Bearette - Weird things happen to me. I am a magnet for weirdness.

RW - Terribly. ;)

Tracy Lynn - I know, Belgium makes people do weird stuff. I haven't even mentioned half the weird stuff I did there, and I was only there for two days.

DLil - I find it very hard to believe my life is more exciting than yours. You may need a hypnotist to help you remember all that crazy stuff you did. ;)

Webmiztris - Thanks. :) It's my story-telling voice. My regular voice is much less enunciated.

Sent over by Avi's blog and I have to say that was great. Good job, Poppy.

Yes, rather enlightening - you're a very exciting person. Kudos to Avitable for the marvelous artwork; those are the best damned stick figures I've seen in a while. Someone should have a stick figure contest - I bet he'd win . :)

I really want to so one of these now but sadly I do not have a video camera. I've a real nice Canon, though. :/

Well.

I certainly know a lot more about you now.

Hee! Just kidding. That rocked. I loved the artwork and your devil-may-care, throw-it-all-out-there" attitude. Plus, it was really nice to fit a face to the blog.

Thanks for revealing yourself, in more ways than one.
