On a quest for peonies...

...results in the purchase of way too many other plants. :)

We did finally get peonies, but we went three different places before finding them. And, of course I had to buy plants at each of the places!! :) Here are a few plants we bought today.

I know, I know, you're asking "where are the peonies?!" Welp, they aren't flowering. So, not much to look at except leaves.
