Memememememememe

Kris tagged me for a meme passed down from Jason who passed it down from Oregano.

We know by now that Poppy does not like to tag people, so I shall not tag. Besides, nobody does the meme if I do tag them. If you want to do the meme, feel free to. :)

10 years ago... I was unsuccessfully trying to make good enough grades to enter Vet school as well as unsuccessfully attempting to have a relationship with that first man who broke my heart. He was at Princeton and I wasn't, long distance. Also, I was in my experimenting stage and was more interested in quantity rather than quality (if you get my drift)...

5 years ago... I was standing in my bedroom after my husband-to-be yelled for me to come in. From the tone of his voice I thought something horrible had happened to one of the cats. While he was on the floor he pulled a ring box out of his pocket and proposed to me. I called him a little shit, but then I said yes.

1 year ago... I saw on MSN.com that the number one search keyword was blog. I'd never heard of that word before, so I looked up the definition and decided that blogs were dumb. (Ha. :)

Yesterday... I got my bottom braces!

Today... I got two high 5's from a male co-worker who I think just wanted to touch me... hmm.

Tomorrow... I will purchase and plant peonies in our gardens, perhaps mow the lawn, definitely read, and maybe go see Batman Begins and Land of the Dead back-to-back at the drive-in. Yippy!

Yeah, Poppy! Thanks for taking the tag!

The announcer's voice CREEPS ME OUT. It sounds like he's molesting me through the television. What's up with that, Kris?! But, I watch it anyway. I love crime TV. I used to read true crime ALL the time but my husband saw a noticeable change in my personality so I decided to stop. Now I just read really gruesome ficiton murder books. :D

I live for crime tv!!! Bill Kurtis can lull me to happyland with his voice anytime. I'm slightly turned on by him, shh.

It's not Bill Kurtis's voice, his voice I like - hard and factual. It's some other guy who reminds me of Richard Christy from the Howard Stern Show... Kinda like he's always thinking inappropriately about anyone he looks at. Gah, heeby jeebies.

No, I know who you're talking about. He sounds sort of...I don't know. What you said.

Found it. Paul Winfield. He died!

Yah, Paul Winfield! Sorry to hear he died, but seriously - who tries to sound so "sex offender"-ish?? I think it was his way of adding joyful or playful inflection, but it just didn't translate correctly...
