Here's the rug my pal Roger sent me. It is from Saudi Arabia. Anyone recognize the building? I think it must be something in Mecca, but I could not find an image similar to this in Google images.
(If you can read Arabic, can you tell me what the tag says? Merci!)

I can email this post to a friend of mine who speaks Arabic...I'll let you know what I find out!
Here's what my friend says:
By the way, I checked out the blog page you sent, and the Arabic writing is nothing terribly exciting. In the top of the first box, the black lettering says, "Riyadh fabric production workshops," or "Riyadh workshops for fabric production," or however you want to phrase it. Underneath, in red writing, it just says, "Saudi manufacture" (made in Saudi Arabia) and gives a phone number. The writing in between the boxes says, "Agent in Kuwait." It's all just basic manufacturing and sales information: a lot of cryptic arabesques imparting mundane facts.
It's cool. Are the colors accurate? It looks like green, red and white. (Sometimes when I take pictures with my stupid little cam, the colors are off, depending on where I am)
Yes, green (a tinge of teal), red, white, and black. It's also very, very soft. I was hoping the label said something about the fabric used. Someone at work said she thinks it is rayon (it feels silky).
Bearette24, please thank your friend for translating the label!
