Although we had planned to do so over two nights, we watched the entire film The Aviator this evening. I had no idea how bizarre Howard Hughes was.
I also had no idea he was associated with Ava Gardner, Katharine Hepburn, and Jean Harlow. (I really didn't know anything about him...)
This film was so much better than I expected it to be. I was terribly freaked out during the plane crash scene to the point where tears were welling in my eyes, my hands were frozen in a protective position, and I was visibly shaking. I was thoroughly impressed with his outburst while having dinner with the Hepburns, that takes guts.
I don't generally care for Leo DiCaprio, but he did a fine job in this film. Hmm, at least one thumb up for this film.

i enjoyed the movie. just watched it for the first time the other day. i loved the time period. my favorite was cate blanchett as kate hepburn
How was Gwen Stefani in the flick? I am concerned she may have no acting ability and torture us like JLO has and act anyway!
She only had two lines, she was mostly eye candy.
Ahhhh, thanks!
