The Poppy household is watching Sin City for dinner (with a sesame ginger marinated Angus steak, oven roasted potatoes, and a tomate from the jardin. Yeeeeha!
I'd post the Jessica Alba pic, but it's taking too long for me to find it in my flickr set, so just pretend Jess is lassoing air here.
Update: Finally found that image, under my post called Yummy.
Yummmmmers! If you have a Trader Joe's near you, they have these potato chips which are flavored with sesame and ginger. SURPRISINGLY GOOD!
You know I'm not a spammer... but Trader Joe's happens to be one of my fave places to shop. Check out this link to see if there is a TJ near you: http://www.traderjoes.com
Poppy, what did you think? I thought the "look" of it was very neat but I just lost interest about 1/2 way through, too many characters etc ... I didn't fall asleep, but I did grow bored!
Oh, Jules. We'll have to agree to disagree. I enjoy when a movie is told from multiple characters' perspectives and then the plot lines meet up in the end.
Oregano, if Bruce Willis isn't too old for Jess then you certainly aren't!. (Yah, Kris, HOT STUFF.)
Mel, it was VERY VIOLENT, which is probably why it was in black and white. It is different from any movie I have ever seen, the plot lines were creepy revolting, so glad that it's not real life, but to me these are all appealing reasons to see it. If that doesn't appeal to you, take a pass.
My favorite part was watching the entire movie, then watching the making of the movie after to see that pretty much all the time the characters were in front of green screens (kinda like Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow). I cannot believe how absolutely monstrous this movie made Elijah Wood. Freaky! (But, NOT freaky deaky!)

Honest to goodness, Jessica Alba in unreasonably hot in that movie.
How was the movie? Is it worth renting?

Oh, Nuggetmaven! I went to the Trader Joe's page, love it! We don't have them where I live, though. Such is life...
That's it, I'm moving to Ohio!
