Black tie mousse cake

Black tie mousse cake

"Rich layers of chocolate cake, dark chocolate cheesecake and creamy custard mousse."

This, my friends, is my most favorite dessert on the planet, exclusively sold by Olive Garden. You can't see from this angle, but the outward-facing side of the cake is covered in luscious chocolate chips, making every bite a little chocolate orgasm.

This post confession is inspired by Jürgen Nation. ;)

D'accord, c'est magnifique. J'adore aussi le chocolat. Aimez-vous la mousse de chocolat?

OUI!!!!! J'ADORE LA MOUSSE AU CHOCOLAT!

Everyone, visit your local Olive Garden, march straight up to the bar, and tell the bartender that you would like two pieces of Black tie mousse cake to go. Bring the dessert home, and eat it with your favorite partner. It will be well worth the sharing experience.

Merci pour l'information! I'm so embarrassed that I used "le" instead of "au!" I know better!

(I am surprised that I remembered to use "au". I was confused why my mind disagreed with you, so I verified myself with Babelfish. See? I don't trust myself about knowing the language...)

You know the language well, give yourself credit.

Is it wrong to admit out loud, that my nipples got a little hard, thinking about all that chocolatey-cheesecakey-moussey goodness?

I think it's a perfectly acceptable reaction. This cake is D-A-M-N good. If you have an Olive Garden, run and get a piece. Don't even bother to walk. It's incredible. But, I really would recommend eating it at home, it's much easier to savor to its fullest potential there.
