I'm lazily /[text] enter cw[text] esc n . :w :n-ing away in vi because I am too damn lazy to use sed and awk to do it properly, but I keep pausing in between page edits because I keep being distracted by something. And by distracted I mean entertained. And by entertained I mean amused. And by amused I mean it keeps making me giggle a little. And by a little I mean a lot.
I guess the lesson learned here is: I enjoy distractions. And vi.

Ooh, vi geekery. You're definitely boosting your techgrrl cred.
vim and cygwin are "must-installs" on any windows system I use. I can't be without my vim/gawk/grep/tr/sed/perl command line tools. vim replaces notepad for everything, of course.
Joe - *gasp* You've emerged from the batcave! J'adore vi.
Wayne - Work makes me use a Mac. I can bootcamp this thing if I want it to hose all my files. I'm waiting until 10.5 comes out because all my files have been lost twice after bootcamping. (Okay, sure, they were backed up but it's still a pitFa to put the pieces back together.) I should just install Parallels instead... I'm not as hardcore as you, I connect up to a server to do my geeking out.
WHAT THE
Pay it no mind, Crys. I think she's trying to lure geeky boys.
Hmmmm, Poppy speaks languages that I have never even heard of...
Crys - Nothing to see! Please, avert your gaze!
Joe - I am not trying to lure geeky boys. I just had something on my mind and I said it. But I'm glad it drew you out of your secret hiding place. :D
Angel - Several. Languages are my thang.
