Nope, I studied. I had just spent a great night with friends the night before, and today I am supposed to attend a birthday celebration, so I really needed a study day. Besides, there was a warning for folks to get off the water yesterday because of looming thunderstorms. At least I finally got through one of my books!
I've had the study materials for my certification for three months now. I've spent all of maybe two hours studying. Granted, there were the holidays and, prior to that, I didn't have a computer powerful enough to run Oracle (gave the good one to my parents). The holidays are over, and I have a new laptop now with 1G of memory and 120G of disk space. I guess I am out of excuses.
I'm not sure if you've mentioned it elsewhere, but what certification did you go after?

It was a SANS security certification.
