What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The West

Your accent is the lowest common denominator of American speech. Unless you're a SoCal surfer, no one thinks you have an accent. And really, you may not even be from the West at all, you could easily be from Florida or one of those big Southern cities like Dallas or Atlanta.

Cred to Avi, who found it completely accurate. I, on the other hand, found it completely not. Well, let me clarify. I don't have a typical accent, so this quiz was not able to pinpoint my place of heritage. I'm just an enigma.

VERY cool quiz!! :)

I just took it and it said that I have a "midland" accent.

Supposedly, that means, "you don't have an accent. You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio."

Reeaallllly? A good voice for TV and radio? How, um, appropriate. ;)

I've seen another quiz similar to that, but it wasn't as accurate as this one. I'm a midlander with a midlander lack of accent. Coincidentally, I have the desire for an accent of ANY type.
