You started off the year with Teen Wolf? Awesome. ;-)

How can you recommend "Employee of the Month?" Isn't that the one with Dane Cook and Jessica Simpson?

I like Dane Cook, I can't help it. Jessica Simpson was awful as usual, but she specifically wasn't important to the story (insert any desirable female in her place and the movie stays the same). Plus, I'm really into the behind-the-scenes of grocery stores right now and this fits the bill.

But you don't recommend American Movie? That's the doc about the guys making a horror film, right? It was brilliantly hilarious!

Three reasons I didn't give it a star:

1. I wasn't done watching it when I updated the post.
2. I really really really really enjoyed the movie, but I kept thinking, "who the hell else is gonna wanna watch this?"
3. I feel bad about all the *'s I have already this year.

I'm still not convinced I should give it a * because that means I actually recommend it to others. I want to keep it all to myself, no sharing, so no *.

You didn't like The Ringer? I mean, besides the base humor and juvenile physical comedy, was it something else?

Two reasons are just personal, and one reason is an honest criticism specifically related to the movie:

1. I have a family member who is in Special Olympics, and she's not faking it. She is very proud when she wins medals, and our family is very proud of her.

2. I have family members who have devoted their lives to coach Special Olympians.

3. Johnny Knoxville is a sucky actor when it comes to special needs.
