I hope her mom lets her know that it's okay for her to grow up to be her own person, that she doesn't actually have to be (just like) Steve. But, she's a girl after my own heart -- compassionate toward all Earth's creatures, even the ones in our bellies.
You know, I watched that segment on Ellen the other day. All I could think of was that her mother was pimping her so that she had some sort of income. Horrible thought, but really, she's a kid who deserves to be a kid without all the pressure of growing up in her father's shadow.
No, JJ, you're not. It bugged me that Terri took over talking for Bindi while she played with her hair. It sounds like Bindi is enjoying what she's doing, but that she feels a great deal of pressure to follow in Steve's footsteps. I am confident she would have done this anyway, but in a much more relaxed way. It's so unfortunate we can't continue to see Bindi and Steve working together to spread information and compassion for animals.
See, when I saw Bindi speaking at her dad's memorial service, I thought she was too composed and too focused for a girl her age to be.
Perhaps this is a bad thing, indicating the kid is being brainwashed into being what her parents wanted her to be.
Perhaps this is a good thing that she's being raised right?
Who knows.
All I do know is with she and her mom being so high profile now, it'll make it difficult for her mother to pick up the pieces, and "start over" with someone else, should she choose to do that. Afterall, she IS still reasonably young.

Yes, I know this is horrible, but I'm still waiting for the video of Steve's death.
Do you really think Terri is going to let that leak? Or, do you think the police didn't destroy all of their copies?

Am I the only one who thought this?

I think there's got to be a copy of it out there somewhere.
