All the cool kids eat Sunday Dinner

Do you spend all day (or more time than other days) preparing a meal for Sunday dinner? We're hit and miss. Last night it was 8pm by the time we discussed dinner so I cooked and consumed pan-fried spicy noodles and a veggie egg roll (they were not take-out) while Hay had a peanut butter sammie. Other Sundays we'll crockpot a chicken or cook up other meat dishes that take a long time to prepare. Sometimes we just do pierogies. Basically, sometimes we think Sunday is like any other day and sometimes we think it's extra special. I think it depends if we've gone grocery shopping lately and if we've had a relatively eventful or uneventful weekend.

Speaking of veggie egg roll, my favorite dipping sauces for egg or spring rolls: duck sauce mixed with hot mustard if it's take-out, teriyaki sauce mixed with maple syrup if I make it myself. MMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!

If I've done groceries, I also like to make a special Sunday dinner (and take leftovers for lunch Mon/Tues).

I mix the duck sauce and mustard, too. Spicy hot! Good stuff!
