Magician fools tricks robbers

The Smoking Gun and The Washington Post report that illusionist David Copperfield and two of his assistants were robbed at gunpoint after a show Sunday night.

According to IMDb, Copperfield turned his pockets inside-out to show the robbers there was nothing in them, but later revealed to police his pockets contained a cell phone, wallet, and passport.

Who the feck tries to rob David Copperfield? Dumb-ass-es, that's who. Mom and Pop Copperfield should be proud, David chose the correct career to help him through life.

Thanks to The DarkHat for alerting me to the story.

This really made me giggle.

I mean really.

*turns pockets inside out*

*all of a sudden has assailant's gun in hand*

"Hm. How did that happen? Now go away, would-be thief."

This is hilarious!

It would have been even better if he would have made the robber disappear like he did with the Statue of Liberty.

*poof* You're gone, dude.
