It is time

Over a month ago I purchased the set. It is time to unveil them. It is time to start the journey.

Lisa, that was for you. :)

I bought the set at B&N not long ago! I've never read them, so I'm excited to start!

I just have to get through the twenty library books I have checked out.... :)

B, I have never read them either. I bought them because of Lisa's post, but I had already gone to the library too. I have just the rest of Running with Scissors then I'll juggle Apothecary with The Magician's Nephew.

Bittermom, yes, must read before seeing the movie! :) Which books do we need to read before seeing the first film? 1 and 2?

I'm infecting others with my illness! Run for your lives!

But, yay! Hope you enjoy them as much as I am.

The movie is based on Book 2, although 1 will give you background for the rest of the books.

I took a break from them for a while to read library books and a biography of C.S. Lewis (SUCH an interesting, cool person), so I'm still on Book 5.

Looking forward to the movie! I just hope they don't ruin it like they did with the Lord of the Rings movies. (Yeah, I know I'm in the minority on that opinion.)

huh! i loved the chronicles of narnia. I must have read each of them a few times. I still have the box set i was given when i was 10, and when i lost book four i found the matching one on ebay. I have to say that i'm a little scared to see the movie though, not knowing if they ruined it or not.

That's funny, I've been reading the Chronicles of Narnia for months. Other books keep sneaking in between. I just finished A Horse and His Boy last night.
