Not meant to be

We only bought a half dozen eggs at the grocery store earlier this week. I used two for a dessert for company, Hay used three for a salad topping, and one egg was stuck to the carton so broke open when Hay tried to pull it out for making the hardboiled eggs. Cede household egg count: 0. My plans for making my cookies are foiled again. Drat.
