Lost in translation?!

D*ana is claiming Katie and Tom are actually engaged!

Tom has made to find in the suite, an enormous bunch of red roses and a ring for its Katie. The brace is only exited for supper to the Piperno restaurant the same restaurant where it went with Penelope last time.

I agree with her that something MUST be lost in the translation from Italian to English... Or, maybe not. Seems a little rushy-rushy to me.
