That green stuff can kill you.

It's probably a good idea if you don't eat bagged any fresh spinach right now until the E. coli outbreak has been contained.

Thankfully, I don't care for spinach in any form. Doesn't mean I won't buy a food product whose ingredients contain said spinach, but I'll take my chances on that part.

The bagged stuff can kill you as well. Best to avoid any spinach that isn't canned.

Then again, almost all raw hamburger has trace amounts of e. coli in it, so people can go ahead and take the risk if they want.

ACW - that's why I put the word "any" .. (as opposed to only bagged, which was the original warning).

I think you would be okay eating the spinach as long as you washed it well. I love spinach and am sad that the farmers are saying they will have to till most of this years crop under because of the scare...

I didn't see the ad but the red is very bright...
