I hate it when I take 20 minutes to research a problem then carefully word suggested solutions as well as temporary work-arounds for clients only for them to answer back to someone else and totally disregard anything I said.
Except that means I'm off the hook, so I totally love it.

You know what I hate?
Getting hired to be a subject matter expert consultant to go onsite and fix problems, only to have a client NOT LISTEN TO ME, AND NOT WANT A SOLUTION TO THEIR FRICKEN' PROBLEM. And THEN, when all that crap happens that I TELL THEM IS GOING TO HAPPEN in six months because THEY DIDN'T TAKE MY ADVICE, they cannonize me, even though, when I was onsite, I was the evil octopus.
What do you do? Just curious.
I do work. I don't know what the hell I actually do. Jill of all trades, master of some.
People ask me what I do. I never know how to answer.
I tell them I make pretty colored charts for executives.
It's really much more complicated than that, but god, if I went into the ins and outs of business intelligence, data warehousing, cubes, blah blah, they would drop dead of boredom right there...
PS: When are you getting off this blogger crap?
