Confercation days 7-9 highlights

I'm sorry to anyone who was really looking forward to the specific babbling, but I can't do the long posts so I'll do bullets:

• It's hard for me to not want to move to Texas after visiting B.
  
• I like Cheesecake Factory fried mac and cheese.
  
• I like the Dallas Arboretum.
  
• B and I made a vlog for Sourpuss while at the arboretum, and I hope someday B will post it or at least give it to Sour because it's HILARIOUS.
  
• I like helping B shop for new skinny girl clothes (girl, you skinny).
  
• I won't drink lemon drops ever again. :)
  
• I will smoke cigars again, but I'll make B pick them.
  
  
• I will try to never fly while hung over again.
  
• I enjoyed being Dawg's first blogger he ever met and being the first blogger to do Cereal Wednesday with him. He even gave me a(nother!) present of one of the PostSecret books signed by Frank Warren. And a sloop (spoon straw) from Cereality, which is in my silverware drawer waiting for me to eat cereal that is Cap'n Crunch ... but bluer!
  
• It's good to be home, but now my mind is contemplating life choices more than ever.

Loved the Mia Michaels performance between Neil and Danny last night.

I think Sabra might win? Not sure... If a guy wins I really hope it's Neil. I now understand Danny better from his personal piece, but it's too little too late. His coldness throughout the entire competition has turned me off to the idea of him deserving to win. I really wish they'd done this piece at the start of the competition so I had time to get used to the reasons why he's such a standoffish ass.

If Lacey wins I probably won't watch next year. Too many Schwimmers.

Walken, talkin', chicken hockin'

I'm clearly running low on title creativity.

I think about less than a handful of you look at SGP so I am going to start off with food stuff instead. This morning I was feed reading my food blogs and found this post about Ilan from Top Chef having a big announcement. I can't stand Ilan so I went to leave a comment about how I assume his big announcement is that he's having Sam's baby and found that someone had left a "Christopher Walken cooking chicken and pears" comment. Intrigued, I followed the link, and here's what I found.


The ending is my favorite part. Christopher talking about the pear bottoms as tasty cookies is my second favorite part. The unveiling of the cute chicken after it was cooked is my third. Have I mentioned that I used to hate Christopher Walken because he creeped me out as a kid but now that I'm an adult and understand The Man I think he's awesome? No? Well, pretend I just did.

On to SGP. I did visit the in-laws yesterday. Their gardens take up almost all their lawn, save for foot paths in between the beds, so there was a lot to take in. Some of the photos in this week's set are from my gardens but most are from theirs. Some of my most favorite shots:

Sunday, July 22: I wrote this post yesterday when PPP was being a bitchy bitch. It is still relevant.

I was looking for the "dance for your life footage" for Hok on the last results show of SYTYCD and instead I found this video:



I giggled and drooled through the whole thing. Hok and Dominic must be friends because Dominic's in a lot of candid shots with him.

Still can't find the video I'm looking for.

I like gravy, and this time I mean it.

I gave my dance video clips to Crys. Today she's yelling at everyone for not submitting danceoff material to her, but I love it when she yells so it's okay that she is yelling even though she has my footage.

I can't wait to see what she does with my clips, because for half of them I am deeeeeeee-runk (as drunk as a girl can be on two whole [12 oz?] beers) and for the other footage I'm stone cold sober. Not sure which she'll use, but if she doesn't use the drunk stuff I'll post it here for you all to see. :)

And I can't help that I like gravy. I'd drink the stuff if it were socially acceptable. Sometimes I do drink it at home. When Hay isn't looking. Another one of those things I do in secret. :D

If you love Avi but you don't visit him every minute of your life like I do then please direct your attention to this post. Thank you. I know I'm preaching to the choir, but that man is fucking brilliant and that's all I'll say on that.

I've been staring at dance videos on the internets in preparation for my dance-off with Crys. So far I've learned that dancing is hard and that when I watch dance videos I kinda swagger around in my chair and get super excited but it doesn't translate to graceful movement.

Because I was playing with flat penises flats of pansies last night I didn't get to make Mel's video. Sweetie, je vous promets, I am making it this weekend. A little an-tici-pation is GOOD for your horny ass. ;)

I'm about to walk out the door to visit a client who, in retrospect, reeeeeeeally looks like theslyestfox so when I see her I fully intend to ask her, "how was London?" and see what she says.
