We were going to travel to Hay's parents' house for a holiday get-together today but there is a snowstorm outside. I ventured out to put some outgoing mail in the mailbox and I almost needed a rescue crew.

I hate to be the first one to say this, but have you thought about the possibility that you're going to have to go back out there and rescue the mail? Chances are no mail delivery will happen in a snowstorm! And you don't want it to get all wet do you? LOL
The flag is down, so either one of the neighbor kids messed around with it or the mail was picked up. I'm hoping for the latter, because I don't want to have to scare the neighbor kids into not touching our mailbox...
