Critters

Today I was sifting through 3 months' worth of holiday catalogs and stumbled upon one for The Swiss Colony. Inside this catalog were several selections containing chocolate raccoons.

Yes. You heard me. Raccoons. Made of chocolate.

Here's the Santa's Helpers variety:

And the Forest Friends Log variety:

I would really love to receive chocolate raccoons in the mail. But, not real raccoons dipped in chocolate. That's just wrong.

I love chocolate, but those pics were absolutely DISGUSTING -- even for a hopeless chocoholic like myself. Seriously, I think I threw up in my mouth a little bit when I saw those things.

Is this chocolate racist?

I grew up about a block away from a Swiss Colony store and that place was full of chocolate anomolies. It was also a haven for free cheese samples. I really miss that store.

The critter in the lower left of the Santa's Helpers collection looks like a character from Wallace & Gromit.

On the 2nd picture, are the raccoons all grinning, or is that supposed to be their markings? Because that's not how raccoons are marked. Write a letter of protest to the company and offer to buy the incorrectly-marked raccoons at a substantially lower price.

Also, have you seen this cat video?

OMG...how can anyone say they look nasty? It's chocci. Chocci is never visually disturbing. Ugh. Ok, more for me.

Hell, if Swiss Colony fashioned a chocolate Yule Log in the shape of a turd, I'd still eat it. Their stuff is rather good.

And on a related note, one year I fashioned 3D gingerbread penis for my mom and 3D gingerbread boobs for my dad one year for Christmas. And yes, the ginger-cock was circumcised...
