Text messaging!

I just figured out how to use text messaging on my phone! Happy Poppy! (Yes, I'm an idiot. I have a Nokia Tracfone, so my phone is never on unless I'm expecting contact by others.)

Also related to the messaging topic, I found Gecko! He's back! (Look, Gecko — I'm talking about you! :P ) He is currently locked out of his Wordpress account, but is working with them to be reinstated. Expect him to blog blog blog real soon.

1. Which of those purdy model phone do you have? I, too, use a prepaid but mine is through Telus. I leave mine on all the time. I don't have a lot of friends but those who have my number know the phone is more for emergencies/important matters, not chit-chat. What happens if someone needs to get in touch with you? Isn't that the point of having one?

2. Oh, thank goodness. I've been wondering what the heck happened to Gecko! How on earth did he get locked out of Wordpress? I hope it's the first thing he posts about when/if he's able to log back in!

1. NO. I am a total phonephobe. The phone is for MY emergencies. If someone needs to get in touch with me then they can make the pager in my pocket vibrate. I'm trying to get a Treo from work, which would stay on 24/7/365.

2. No idea, and he doesn't know either! He'll be so glad more than just Molly and I still care about his blog. :)

1. Oh, and it's the Nokia 5100. Sad but true. I should get a different phone... Looks like if work doesn't get me a Treo I'll get the LG. Cute and tiny.

So that's what he meant.

*waves* Hi, Gecko!

TracFone is the bane of my work existence. Seriously, I know the office girl in the Florida warehouse by name.

*waves* Hi, Charmaine!

Molly - *sigh* I got your Charmaine comment in email but not your Gecko comment. Good thing I checked! Yes, he's just kinda ... in limbo. And you know Charmaine?! I have a feeling I'm about to get to know her. I just bought that flip phone...
