the gift

At some point I confessed to Bdogg that I enjoy murder mystery and that I am also fascinated with the seedy side of Medieval times so she secretly sent me a gift.



I am starting with The Apothecary Rose. I have set aside Patricia Cornwell's book for now.

    I just like to spread the book love! If I'm finished with them, why not let others enjoy them?

    And no, I didn't lace the pages with anthrax, although "The Apothecary Rose" deals with a poisoning!

    It might be interesting to start a Blogger Book Swap.....

    Hmmmm.

    Oh yeah, Poppy--the Ellis Peters one is the first in its series as well.

    B, I *LOVE* this idea. We should totally do it. I have a TON of books just sitting on shelves that are true gems but are just collecting dust.

    Books? Did someone say books?

    I have some chick lit that I can pass along. And a slightly used (and utterly useless) GRE prep book that I never want to see again for as long as I live.
