Why is it that if I forget to pay the trash people and they send a past due notice I freak out and apologize all over the statement and send them extra months of payment in addition to last month and this month, but if the phone company sends me a past due notice I say, "deserved, fuckers"?
Because the trash company helps us get rid of our mistakes and the phone company helps us make them in the first place.

ReplyDeleteI have a credit card I got behind on, so I'm making payments...but they still call. Yesterday? I let my 2 year old granddaughter answer & talk to them, then hung it up.

Because it's more of a hassle to haul your trash to the dump than to miss a few phone calls.

WAIT -- you have to PAY the trashmen? MY GOODNESS the north collects on every fucking thing possible.
ReplyDeleteThey GIVE us special trash barrels in Florida, primarily because they have a truck that lifts and dumps the barrels automatically. It's a one-man job here.
